भूख(Hunger)

अक्सर ये सोचता था बड़ी तकलीफ़ है मुझे, पर ये आंख खुल गई जो निगाहें उधर गई। सड़कों के किनारे पे कचरे में हाथ में से, कोई शख्स मुझको आज रोटी उठाता हुआ मिला।

भूख बड़ी ज़ालिम होती है कभी ये नहीं देखती आपके पास उसे देने के लिए कुछ है या नहीं।बस लग जाती है। रोटी इन्सान की सबसे पहली ज़रूरत है बाकी चीजें तो इसके बाद ही आती हैं। पेट की आग बहुत तेज़ होती है । इसने कितनों के ही घर जला दिए है,कितनों को ही मार डाला है और कितनों को ही मजबूर कर रही है अनचाहा या गलत काम करने के लिए, खासकर छोटे बच्चों को।जिनके हाथ में किताबे और आंखों में सुनहरे सपने होने चाहिए थे,उनके हांथ में कचरे की बोरी और आंखो में भूख की तड़प है।कही कोई अपना बचपन छोड़कर कमाने निकल पड़ा है तो कहीं कोई चोरी करके अपना पेट पालने को मजबूर है। इस विषय को छोटे से अंश में पूर्ण रूप से वर्णित करना संभव नहीं है। इसलिए बस इतना ही कहना चाहूंगा कि आप उनकी सहायता करे न करें को सक्षम हैं पर उनकी सहायता करने से न चूकें जो असक्षम हैं। यही मानवता है जो हमें पशुओं से भिन्न बनाती है।

Hunger is very cruel, it never checks whether you have anything to give it or not. It just needs to eat something. Bread is the first need of a human being, other things come only after it. The stomach fire is very strong. It has burnt down so many houses, killed so many people and is forcing so many to do unwanted or wrong things, especially small children. Those who should have had books in their hands and golden dreams in their eyes, There is a sack of garbage in his hand and the pain of hunger in his eyes. Some people have left their childhood and set out to earn money while others are forced to survive by stealing. It is not possible to describe this topic completely in a small excerpt. So all I would like to say is that even if you do not help those who are capable, do not miss helping those who are unable. It is humanity that makes us different from animals.
